When tea leaves or anything containing tea products (e.g., green tea supplements, etc.) are ingested by pets, signs of caffeine poisoning can be seen, and include hyperactivity, vomiting, diarrhea, agitation, an elevated heart rate, abnormal heart rhythms, hypertension, and even tremors or seizures.
