Fat Trimmings / Table Scraps

Table scraps contain too much fat and salt for a dog or cat. Too much fat (e.g., table food) from any source can cause pancreatitis, which is inflammation of the pancreas. Signs of pancreatitis range from mild signs of vomiting, diarrhea, and a painful abdomen to more serious signs of organ failure and death.
